The service

File Utils provides web-based utilities for image conversion and PDF manipulation. Features and availability may change. The service is provided for general information and productivity purposes, not as legal, financial, or professional advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the tools to violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the site, probe for vulnerabilities beyond good-faith coordinated disclosure, or overload infrastructure.
• Use automated means to abuse rate limits, scrape the site in a way that harms availability, or circumvent technical protections.

Disclaimers and risk

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation. PDF and image handling depends on your browser, device memory, and input files.

You are responsible for your data. Keep backups of important documents before merging, splitting, compressing, or converting. Verify outputs before deleting originals.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or fifty dollars (USD), unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Intellectual property

The site name, branding, layout, and original content are protected by applicable laws. You receive no ownership rights in the software beyond the right to use the public site as offered. Open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or risks the service or others. Provisions that should survive (disclaimers, limits on liability) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms of Use. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above when practical.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of this deployment, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
